Our Society’s Events LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website www.oursocietysevents.com, use our services, or communicate with us, including via SMS/text message.   • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.   

  • Financial Data: We currently do not collect financial information directly on our site. If you engage our services requiring payment, financial data related to your payment (e.g., credit card details) will be collected and processed by our third-party payment processors, QuickBooks Payments and HoneyBook. We do not store sensitive financial information on our servers. Please review the payment processor's privacy policy.

  • Mobile Device Data: Device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, if you access the Site from a mobile device (if location services are enabled).   

  • Data From Contests, Giveaways, and Surveys: Personal and other information you may provide when entering contests or giveaways and/or responding to surveys.

    • To respond to your inquiries about our event planning services.

    • To engage in conversational exchanges related to planning and executing your event.

    • To provide customer support related to our services via text if requested or appropriate.

  • Consent: By initiating a text message conversation with us or by providing your mobile number through our communication channels and agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you consent to receive text messages from us for the purposes outlined above.

  • Data Sharing: We do not sell or rent your phone number to third parties. We will only share your phone number with essential service providers (like our communication platform, RingCentral) as necessary to facilitate SMS communications, or as required by law.

  • Data Security: We implement reasonable measures to protect your information, including your phone number and message content, from unauthorized access or disclosure.

  • Opt-Out: You have the right to opt-out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time. Instructions for opting out are detailed in our Terms & Conditions.

  • Data Retention: We retain SMS conversation data as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes outlined above, or as required by law or business record-keeping policies.

We do not sell your personal information.
